5 Ways to Enjoy Disney at Home

Posted on April 29, 2020November 8, 2023 by the mom recess

Back from a Disney trip and already missing the magic? Looking ahead to your next trip? Stuck at home due to coronavirus and trying to relive your favorite Disney memories? Whatever your reason, we have a few ways to enjoy Disney World right in your own home!

5 Ways to Enjoy Disney World at Home

  1. Listen to Disney World park music– we listen to Disney music a lot in our house, but park music is extra special. It instantly brings up happy memories from the trips we’ve taken. Spotify (paid streaming service) has quite a few Disney Parks playlists. Our favorite is called Disney Parks. So may great songs that will make you feel like you are right at Disney World. DParkRadio.com is another place to stream Disney parks music. They have a few options for streaming.
  2. Watch Disney World vlogs– our favorite is The Tim Tracker, which can be found on YouTube. He has great videos that cover Disney rides, restaurants, experiences, parades and so much more! he kids love watching his vlogs as much as we do!
  3. Cook up some of your favorite Disney World recipes– we’ve been cooking more at home due to the Covid-19 stay at home orders and constantly looking for new ideas. Check out the recipes at the Disney Parks Blog!
  4. Watch a Disney movie– there is nothing wrong with binge watching some Disney movies when you’re missing Disney World! Don’t hold back, sing along and have fun!
  5. Start planning your next Disney World trip– there are so many ways to get excited about your next trip to Disney. We love the Birnbaum books. For our last trip we purchased the kid version and our 4 year old loved planning with us!Birnbaum's 2020 Walt Disney World for Kids: The Official Guide Book Looking at Disney maps and the My Disney Experience app are great tools for the initial planning stages. We have so much fun planning, even if the trip isn’t for a while.

You may not be able to be at Disney, but there’s no reason you can’t have some Disney fun right in your own home!
