Our story
I am a former elementary school teacher and am now home with two wonderful (very active!) kids. Our family loves traveling and Disney! As a teacher, I was tied to the school calendar, which somewhat limited our travel options. Once I left the classroom I really wanted to expose our kids to more traveling. Every time we took a trip, my husband and I noticed that the kids grew in new ways. They became more confident, their language skills improved and they were open to trying new things in our everyday lives.
Traveling with young kids (or older ones, too!) is intimidating. I tend to plan for the unexpected, while my husband has a more relaxed vibe when it comes to traveling. I like to think we balance each other out. Each time we travel, no matter what ends up happening, has always been worth it. We are in no way experts when it comes to traveling with kids, but we are learning with each new adventure! I hope you are encouraged to get out there and explore with your family!
