This charming New England-style resort effortlessly blends the allure of the coast with Disney’s enchantment. From the moment we arrived, I could feel the Disney magic all around us. The resort’s stunning landscape, subtle Disney decorations and unique Beach Club scent (yes, each resort has a uniquely wonderful scent!) set the stage for an unforgettable family stay. Make sure to be on the lookout for hidden Mickey’s throughout your room and the resort!
Family-Friendly Accommodations
Finding spacious and comfortable accommodations for our family of four was a breeze at Disney’s Beach Club Resort. Our room was not only beautifully decorated with coastal-inspired touches but also provided all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay.
What truly stole our hearts was the short walk from our room to Stormalong Bay, a water wonderland that had our kids grinning from ear to ear. With a lazy river, sandy bottom pool, and exhilarating waterslides, it was like a mini water park tucked right into the heart of the resort.
Delectable Dining
As parents, we understand that good food is essential when traveling with kids. The resort offers a wide range of dining options, but our absolute favorite was Disney’s Beaches and Cream Soda Shop. The charming atmosphere, classic diner menu, and, of course, the unforgettable ice cream creations made it a meal we’ll treasure forever. It’s a must-visit for families looking to indulge in a whimsical Disney dining experience.
Strolling into Epcot
Staying at Disney’s Beach Club Resort means you’re just a leisurely stroll away from Epcot, and let me tell you, it’s a game-changer. We effortlessly hopped over to experience the magic of Disney’s theme parks without the need for time-consuming commutes. Our evening watching the fireworks at Epcot with the kids and then casually walking back to our cozy haven at the resort was truly magical.
Right alongside the entrance to Epcot is the entrance to the Skyliner, which we walked onto without a wait in the morning and seamlessly rode to Hollywood Studios. That evening, instead of joining the line to ride back to the hotel, we took our time and walked the path that led back to the Beach Club. It was about a mile walk that took, at our slow pace, around 20 minutes. It was a wonderfully relaxing way to end the evening.
A Stopover at Disney Boardwalk
One of the highlights of our stay was the quick walk to Disney Boardwalk in the evening. This charming area is a hub of entertainment and dining options that are perfect for families. The kids were over the moon to explore the street performances, entertainers and outdoor movies.
But the real treat was the delectable pizza at the BoardWalk Pizza Window paired with delicious drinks for the parents from Abracadabar. We enjoyed a simple yet delicious meal as we watched the live street entertainment. The happiness was absolutely contagious!
